What makes Wintergreen the classic?
Velo Plus Wintergreen carries the taste that has flavored American smokeless products for generations, rebuilt without a single leaf. The profile runs creamy, subtly sweet, and full-bodied, per Velo's own card. Sucralose supplies the gentle sweetness, and each moist pouch sits a bit bigger and softer than an original Velo, so it settles fast against the gum.
How far is it from Spearmint?
A full lane apart. Velo Plus Spearmint keeps one light, crisp note and gets out clean, while Wintergreen goes deep, round, and gently sweet from the first minute to the last. Same can of 20, same synthetic nicotine, opposite weights. Longtime dip users usually land here first; newcomers to the family often start on the lighter can.
Three strengths and a 5-can format
Wintergreen runs 3 mg, 6 mg, or 9 mg of nicotine per pouch, and we stock all three. Every order ships as a 5-can pack, 100 pouches in one box, which keeps a daily user covered for weeks instead of days. The story of the wider lineup lives on our Velo pouches page.
Wintergreen basics, settled
Is it sweet like candy wintergreen?
No. The sweetness stays subtle and the body does the talking, closer to a classic smokeless profile than to a breath mint or a candy. Sucralose is the only sweetener in the recipe.
Why do dip users pick wintergreen first?
Habit and history. Wintergreen has been the signature taste of American dip for generations, so the wintergreen flavor memory is already there. This can keeps that taste while dropping the leaf entirely: the nicotine is synthetic and no tobacco plant matter goes in.
What if you want warmth instead?
Cross the shelf. Velo Plus Tropical Heat trades the cool, full body for juicy mango with a hint of chili, the one warm profile in the line. Same pouch underneath, completely different weather.
First pouch ever: what to expect?
A light tingle in the opening minutes, which is normal and fades. Place the pouch between your upper lip and gum, flatten it with your tongue, and leave it for up to 60 minutes. The lid has a slot for spent pouches.
Where can the pack travel?
To eligible US states only, never abroad. The current state roster sits on our legal restrictions page. An adult 21 years of age or older signs for every box, and a failed age check at the door means a return with no refund.
